Fall/Winter Trend #4: Leather jacket (+ 4 outfit ideas)

Today it's time for another fall/winter trend and trend #4 is leather jackets. Leather jackets have been a trend last spring and summer, and they're still a trend this fall and winter.
As you can see in the picture above, Ashley, Cara, Jessica and Ellen already wore their black leather jacket in a way that is very appropriate for fall.

On the runway we saw a lot of black leather jackets, like at Haider Ackermann, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Saint Laurent. But we didn't only see black leather jackets. Fendi showed a blue leather jacket and 3.1 Phillip Lim showed a brown one. I also noticed that there was a leather vest at the show of 3.1 Phillip Lim; it was paired with a sweater and I thought the model looked very cool.

I picked some leather jackets that were affordable and totally on trend. Like I said before, you don't have to go for a black leather jacket, brown and burgundy are also very versatile. The two-toned leather jackets (like the ones from H&M and New Look) are great for anyone who wants to stand out.

Need some outfit ideas? No problem. Here are 4 different ways to wear a black leather jacket! The first way to wear a leather jacket is edgy; wear your leather jacket with a plaid shirt for a 'punk' look and pair them with jeans and sneakers. For a chic look, you can pair your leather jacket with a feminine white shirt and a pair of black skinny jeans. You could finish this look with a trendy scarf and a bright watch.

The third way to wear a leather jacket is to pair it with jeans, a sweater and some boots for a casual look, that is perfect for the weekends. If you prefer to wear black in the fall and winter, you could wear your black leather jacket with a pair of black jeans and a black top. Pair it with some leopard flats and a scarf in a trendy color, and you'll look super fashionable.
