When Angela finds out that her boyfriend Mark is cheating on her, and her best friend Louisa knew about it and did not tell her, Angela flees to New York. She becomes friends with Jenny, a concierge at the hotel Angela is staying in. Jenny gives her a Hollywood makeover and takes her out to see New York. She even asks Angela to move in with her, which Angela gladly accepts. Within a few weeks Angela is dating two great guys at the same time: Tyler, a Wall Street-banker, who treats her like a princess (and takes her to Tiffany & Co!). And Alex, singer of a band, who she secretly likes a lot more. Also, Angela gets to blog about her life for a magazine. And because her blog is such a success, she gets a job offer that will take her back to London. But is Angela ready to go back to London again?
Last week i finished reading this book by Lindsey Kelk. I really enjoyed reading this book. Angela is character you will easily love and her love life is fun to read about. Also, i like how Lindsey Kelk describes the city of New York (the streets..the stores...): for me, someone who has not been there (yet), it is great to read about what is 'hot and happening' in New York. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes reading romantic and funny chicklits!
