Yellow was never really my color. Since I'm blonde, I thought yellow wouldn't look that well on me. But after seeing Elizabeth Banks (in 'Walk of Shame') and Busy Philipps in a yellow dress, I'm convinced that yellow can look good on blondes too!

Grey is the perfect color for fall and winter. It's such a versatile color, because it can look casual but also chic. Here are 50(!) grey items for this fall and winter.

Boyfriend jeans are great for the weekends. I like how Miranda wore a pair of boyfriend jeans with a navy blazer while out in Central Park last Thursday: it makes her outfit look more chic.

In the spirit of yesterday's blogpost, here is another one with a leather jacket. My favorite way to wear a leather jacket is to wear the jacket over a sweater for a casual look, like this outfit of Emilia (Game of Thrones). She wore a leather jacket, a sweater and a pair of jeans while arriving at LAX Airport on September 23rd.

A while ago I told you that slouchy cardigans are a big trend for this fall and winter. This is how Jessica wore her black slouchy cardigan; she paired it with a simple white t-shirt, jeans and a leopard bag. She wore this outfit during New York Fashion Week.

Sophia wore a Breton striped top with denim shorts and some fun sandals while shopping on July 25th. Breton striped tops are just perfect for summer!
Did you know that the Breton stripe (navy and white stripes) was introduced as the uniform for all French navy seaman in Bretagne, France in 1858? And that it was Coco Chanel who introduced this design to the fashion world in 1917?

If you have read my blogpost 'Trend: Mixing patterns' you might recognize this outfit. I like how Nina paired two patterns: a navy and white striped top with a pair of floral shorts. She wore this cute summer outfit when she was at Comic Con on July 20th.
