Last night, the 2013 MET Gala was held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. They celebrated the opening of the Punk: Chaos to Couture exhibition. That meant that all the celebrity's were wearing 'punk-inspired' red carpet looks.
Because there were so many celebrity's in so many great dresses, i decided to split this blogpost about the MET Gala in two parts. Part 2 will be up later today!
The first thing that i noticed were that a lot of celebrity's decided to wear black dresses. In the photo above are some of the black dresses. Alexa Chung wore a dress by Erdem. Emma Roberts wore a DVF-dress. Taylor Swift looked nice is a dress by J. Mendel. Cara Delvingne wore a Burberry-dress. January Jones looked edgy in a short dress by Chanel. Ashley Greene looked amazing in a dress by Marchesa. Michelle Williams wore a simple Saint Laurent-dress.
This are some of the other black dresses. Emma Watson wore a simple black dress by Prabal Gurung. Jennifer Lawrence looked pretty in a Dior-dress. Gisele Bundchen wore a short dress by Anthony Vacarello. Anna Hathaway looked fierce in a Valentino-dress. Miranda Kerr looked nice in a dress by Michael Kors. Carey Mulligan wore a Balenciaga-dress. Jaime King wore a suit by Topshop.
Of course, there were also white dresses. Rita Ora wore a dress by Thakoon. Nicole Richie wore a pretty dress with long sleeves (i do not like her hair). Katie Holmes looked pretty in a Calvin Klein-dress. Rooney Mara wore a Givenchy-dress. Zooey Dechanel wore a dress by Tommy Hilfiger. Hailee Steinfeld looked pretty in a Donna Karan-dress. Marion Cotillard wore a dress by Dior.
There were a lot of red dresses as well. Maggie Gyllenhaal wore a simple red dress by Calvin Klein. Maggie Q wore a dress with sleeves. Ziyi Zhang looked pretty in a dress by Jason Wu. Kate Beckinsale looked great in a Alberta Ferretti-dress. Kristen Stewart wore a jumpsuit by Stella McCartney. Emilia Clark looked nice in a Ralph Lauren-dress. Amber Heard wore a dress by Pucci.
Gwen Stefani wore a black-and-white dress by Maison Martin Margiela. Blake Lively looked very pretty in a Gucci-dress. Olivia Wilde wore a Calvin Klein-dress. Kylie Minogue looked nice in a dress by Moschino.
Kate Bosworth looked amazing in a Balmain-dress. Gwyneth Paltrow wore a pink dress by Valentino. Minka Kelly looked nice is a dress by Carolina Herrera. Kate Mara wore a Delpozo-dress
Amanda Seyfried wore a Givenchy-dress. Jennifer Lopez wore a dress with animal-print by Michale Kors. Sarah Jessica Parker looked nice is a Giles Deacon-dress. Beyonce wore a Givenchy-dress. Brooklyn Decker wore a dress by Peter Piletto.
