Thursday's top 5: Beanies for winter

The last few days it has been freezing where I live. So wherever I went outside, I had to wear my winter coat, my UGG's, a big scarf, gloves and of course... a beanie.

I like the color combination of black and blue, so it's no surprise that I liked this outfit that Jessica wore last week. She paired a blue top with a pair of blue jeans, a black cardigan and black boots.

Casual: Alessandra Ambrosio

Bomber jackets are hot, and I like how Alessandra wore hers. She paired her black bomber jacket with a grey t-shirt, some grey jeans and a pair of grey sneakers.

Red Carpet: Grammy's 2014

The 2014 Grammy Awards took place last weekend and the big trend was: sparkly dresses.

Casual: Miroslava Duma

Here's a tip for pairing different prints in the winter: choose for different prints in similar colors, it will make your outfit look well put together. Miroslava paired a navy and white striped top with a cardigan with a grey and white print.

Lately I've been seeing a lot of people with cross-body bags. I think it's nice to let your big tote or shoulder bag at home sometimes and choose for the smaller cross-body bag.

4 new ways to wear: a leather jacket

For today's post, I was inspired by an article on the WhoWhatWear-website (Can you tell it's one of my favorites?). A few days ago I read this article about new ways to wear a leather jacket. Since everybody is pairing their leather jacket with a t-shirt and jeans, it might be time to try another combo. They give us a few ideas, but I thought these two were the most unique.

Thursday's top 5 is back! And this time it's about slip-on sneakers. Lately I've been seeing these shoes everywhere; celebrities, bloggers, people on the streets...everybody is wearing them.

When the new year starts, I'm a bit over the dark colors and want spring to start asap! So a pastel shirt, like the one Jamie wore while out in Los Angeles last week, is perfect because it still keeps you warm.

Yesterday the 2014 People's Choice Awards took place in Los Angeles. Here are a few of the dresses that I liked.

Casual: Jaime King

Jaime wore this classic outfit while out in West Hollywood on December 30th. I like that she paired black boots with a camel coat.

Casual: Reese Witherspoon

Usually a leather jacket makes an outfit look more edgy. But with this outfit, Reese shows that with a pair of nice heels and a classic bag, a leather jacket can look chic too.

Emily wore a burgundy sweater and a pair of black jeans while out in Hollywood on January 4th. I like that she paired them with brown accessories (boots and bag).
